If you are able (birth and/or adoption), more kids the better.
For sure more work and more stress but infinitely more rewarding.

3 kids and today has been... unpleasant. I'm hoping that it gets easier as they get older, but they say "bigger kids, bigger problems". I am glad that they have each other, though.
