The US is home to a large number of highly intelligent individuals, but it also has a significant portion of people who are less informed or educated, with the majority falling somewhere in between in the middle class.

It’s largely the highly intelligent individuals who are driving the country’s progress and keeping things moving forward. However, there’s a growing concern that both the intelligent and middle-class Americans are bearing the burden of supporting a growing population of people who are less informed or productive.

It's unfortunate, because many of the world's brightest minds often move to the U.S. in search of better opportunities, leaving other countries with fewer people at the top of the intellectual spectrum.
