Yeah, man! I'm back! I had to take some time off because I was turning Bitcoin into an idol (referring to the Bible verse that there shall be no idols before God). I should be better now that I'm not so obsessed.
Dang, will need to look into WoT after I re-setup all my Bitcoin stuff.
I understand man all good youβre certainly not the only one to struggle with that π« Bitcoin seems to be a major religious experience to everyone who fully grasps it, Iβd love to hear from peopleβs experiences navigating this, from all religious background, would be cool to maybe have a nests one day discussing this topic.

Most definitely. I've had a religious upbringing, but when I saw a Bible in a Year podcast on nostr:npub1v5ufyh4lkeslgxxcclg8f0hzazhaw7rsrhvfquxzm2fk64c72hps45n0v5, I could actually understand a lot more of why things are the way they are in the world. It's almost like it's a technical manual for Humanity.

But the more prolific followers I follow, the more likely it is that one or more of these βfollows followsβare gonna be a bot or bad actor β¦ or generally someone I just donβt want in my own feed.
Blocking helps. Reports help. Other stuff helps, but (so far) these WoT relays do not calculate for these to help prune my βfollows followsβ.
Nostr needs smarter webs of trust, using opensource algos that people can freely choose from.
But thatβs literally a fix thatβs already being worked on, canβt expect it all to be built in a day.
