Haha I thought you might. I don't mean to single you out Brad, but we need more content here.

My goals for this are to steal the good stuff from X, leave the trash. Support Nostr Devs and creators with zaps and encourage X users to post here first.

would be super cool to make a little web app that automates that for you, especially if it rips out the content and formats it properly as an event and then drops the link at the bottom, and sets the reward split automatically. Write it properly and it could be easily extended to bounce threads, facebook, instagram, whatever you can webscrape.

Pablo is there a way to import a single tweet from a link instead of using the entire Twitter backup file?

Looking at the site doesn't look like it. Would be a nice feature to add to snort/iris/coracle/primal/etc.

web scraping isn't that complicated really, I can write a basic one with curl/grep/sed. I haven't written a simple CLI for feeding in text and spitting out signed event yet but it would be a day or two's work on signr.

My plan would be to us the tool to create an account that scrapes content and then donates any zaps to OpenSats or another org. Alternatively, you could DM the X account and tell them they can claim any sats if they create an npub.

I've never used the zap forwarding feature on amethyst. I zapped my original note. Did you get some sats?
