Meshtastic could be used, as the devices are cheap enough to be saved in EMP-proofing, but, that won't work globally.
I'm thinking we need a hybrid of Meshtastic and Ham radio links (20, 40, 80 meter?) for unstoppable global coverage...

Actually, for the base layer I'm pretty sure we need a fair amount of speed to maintain the timechain at an average 10 minute interval. I'm not deep enough into details yet to really specify what's necessary; just deep enough to be dangerous.😜😂
I wonder if there's any kind of data compression that could be applied to lower the bandwidth needed to maintain continuity.
