It's a great way

DO IT. I've been single boot into Linux for years. Totally worth it.

I dual booted on my old laptop but I literally never went into windows

I have a drive with windows on it that I used to occassionally play games on, but I haven't booted it in years. Linux 100% of the time since I switched from Apple a while back

Bonus points: I had originally built the desktop _for_ games, so its quite potent. Makes an excellent work machine as a result. And I can keep upgrading it "forever". Apple hardware BTFO

I think most games I play will work on Linux with wine

Doooo ittttt!

Love it, but drivers setup is a pain in the ass.

I recommend it. The steam flat flatpak makes gaming on Linux work 99% of the time with no extra effort. I run fedora on my workstation and all the games I want to play work great

Go for it

Windows sucks

Oh I know 🤢

I'm using archlinux distros and it's great 👌

I’m going to use Pop

The tiling feature is great

~15 years windows-free. Life is great.
