It just takes longer. Do hotspot from your phone at night maybe

You dont understand. Best I can hope for is about 8Mbps. That's about 3 GB per hour. :-/

Yeah, that’s pretty bad. See the comments about syncing it at work/friends home.

So 800gb / 3per hour / 266 hours

Start today and be done in a few weeks with interrupts and pauses.

Sync it at work or a family members house.

Yes, you can do that. Then you should be able to sync to the latest block height at home in a few hours.
