Add gardening in conjunction with cooking.
I grew up at a time that we took Home Ec in middle school.
I still use those skills to cook. We spent a whole class on how to make the perfect omelette.
Sewing as well.
Typing too (J,K,L,Sem) finger positions.
These visuals always trigger me haha, those and the "let's fix the broken education system" posts. The state school system is designed specifically to NOT teach us the most important skills & knowledge we need in life. It's not broken, it's operationing exactly as it's designed and meant to be.
