Just realized I’m a moron sometimes. So the “native pear” I grafted into is actually a native peach. Oklahoma doesn’t have a native pear. I was so exideted to try grafting that I totally brain farted. That said, If I were a betting man, I’d say 2 of these grafts aren’t going to take.

Yeah, practice is practice! I’m looking to give it a try with some of the printings from my small orchard this spring. I’m sure my first go at it will have limited success, even with appropriate rootstock😉
