yeah, 42'C overnight will degrade a lot of the acid for you also but idk maybe not quite as fully effective.
also i believe its mechanism of effect is mediated by some of those CYP numbered liver enzymes so there is a 45 minute or so delay between starting to absorb it and the actual active chemistry starting to happen.
idk what the effects are like exactly but it is in the same class as the solanacae, its effects derive mostly from interrupting acetylcholine, and a lot of this whole category of chemicals are insecticides or insect repellants. i've done low doses of brugmansia leaf on occasion before and keept nibbling at it until one point i look up at the full moon and it's all looking a bit different (dilated eyes) and i was like, ok, my ACH receptors are jammed. at the time i had suffered poisoning from residue of a flyspray a housemate used in the kitchen. hah yes it worked. btw, one poison blocks another.
