Wowza. Thank you, #[2]!

K going silent on this thread now. Notification life got me like πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«

You're welcome πŸ•ŠοΈ

Sorry for the notifications, Angela. I should have sent this in a DMs. πŸ˜”

Oh my gosh no not at all!! You were helping me!! πŸ’žI just meant I’m going to bow out so as not to hit the broader notification thread many times 😊

Ok I understand, take care πŸ•ŠοΈ

I love Iris in my desktop browser, but I haven't been able to get the Android app version to work. Can't input my nsec.

Plebstr Android & IOS

Wow - so many choices now :-)

How to get onto the nostr daisy test flight?

Same with iris and arc

Would be cool to flick between them and compare

Question I always have with β€œother” clients are, what assures the integrity of my private key? I mean, I trusted Damus of course, because that’s where my #nostr #plebchain journey began. Daisy? Iris? What’s a Nostrian to do protecting my identity with other entities? Isn’t adding a priv key to a new app like opening a CEX account with my passphrase? Serious concerns… thoughts?

Verify, and then trust. Maybe.

You could use browser extensions like #[6] but all apps are in different stages of development and can have bugs so just keep that in mind.

So the long and short of it is, as I said, trust. Something we desperately have a lack of these days and for good reason. I’m definitely holding tight to my key until I’m able to derive temp keys that are revocable to try other clients. Early day pains!!!

Great list!

By the way, #Nostrid is not only for Windows & Android. It also runs in Linux, MacOS and web/PWA. (It runs in iOS too but there are no binaries yet, you must build it yourself)
