Wrapping up a 76 hour week in 2 hours. I wonder how many hours the typical American is working these days... I’ve averaged 55+ hrs a week since 2006. Since the pandemic, it’s more like 65-85 hrs a week for a majority of the year. I’m getting by and saving a bit, but by no means am I rolling in it. I’m still renting at nearly 40, and am unable to afford a home for my family in the city I live in…unless I want to be house poor, and I don’t.

How many hours are you all clocking at your jobs?

Fiat, 37.5. Then like 30 farming or my “side gig” its much more fulfilling work but I would like to remove the fiat work, it kills my soul.

35-45 hrs or so.

Sometimes more sometimes less.

We aight.

60-65 / week

Self employed or an employee?

Hospital employee

That's too many hours! I was an engineer and lived in the ghetto. Without bitcoin I dont thibk I would be alive today.

35-45, but probably averaging 38. It's really important to have a boss you like... unless you are the boss or entrepreneur of course. I would consider getting a different job and/or moving... unless you're super passionate about the work you're doing.

Boss is really important, but coworkers are even more important in my experience!

What do you mean by house poor?

I have taken time off with my new son being born, though I still got called in. I work everyday maybe like 70hrs.

At least we have incomes!

House poor is having a home that’s too expensive for your income, so you don’t have much money left over for anything else (saving, gifts, traveling, eating out, or emergencies).

I agree to being happy about having an income. I’m incredibly happy to have the job I have and recognize how fortunate I am, but I also know that no one should need to work this much to make this amount, that is just enough for my one child family.

50-60 hours normal job. Rest of my time my side job (investing/trading) pretty much

Love my work and life so it’s all good

Love to hear it and really happy for you ❤️

Cheers to more blessings!

I need to actually work more (focused hours on business) but about 10-20 hours a week of solid work.
