Mind blown! Related question... if there is some nsec 'leakage' or it's lost... is there a way to transfer to a new npub/nsec keypair without starting from scratch? I want to say 'no' (by design) but may be missing some cool tool that's been built to save folks from this predicament. #asknostr
Not at the moment. This has been talked about for ages but there’s no backward compatibility even if a new method were to be adopted.

There is, but it’s not widely implemented in clients. I’ve never seen it in action before.

Hw awas on an early testflight for Damus, after a testflight update i guess he got kicked out, and did not save his key.
Also he said that he is an android guy a rarely uses ios, so probably not very familiar with the OS.
