What’s the lowest barrier way around Apple control on Apple devices? I don’t think the long term solution is exiting Apple devices and I don’t think there is the economic power to make a meaningful difference.

ie. We can switch to android, but it’s more work for us than it is a loss for Apple. (That said you should still get an android based for these cases and to experiment, I have a pixel 5 for this reason)

But I’m curious what everyone thinks the lowest hanging fruit is here? Want to collect a bunch of ideas. Is it just going 100% web apps? Is there another clever work around? Share thoughts 👇🏻👇🏻

Web App can only go so far if Apple starts restricting access to SDK for “inappropriate apps” it won’t matter.

If apple wants to close the loop it might segregate a small part of the ecosystem

I feel like the fallout from that would be much worse though. If they start fighting their development ecosystem the consequences for the value and vitality of their app universe will suffer massively

Those Europe law makers would be hella mad if they essentially start just randomly blocking websites at the OS level.
