Bluetooth and WiFi signals use non-ionizing radiofrequency (RF) radiation (unlike X-rays, gamma rays, etc.).

PMID: 19517034 (2009) – This study explores RF-EMF and oxidative stress, suggesting possible biological effects. But it doesn’t conclude causation in humans.

PMID: 30226071 (2018, review) – Discusses EMFs and neurological function. Again, some evidence of effects, but not definitive.

Blood-brain-barrier studies (Salford et al., Lund University Sweden, early 2000s): They reported albumin leakage in rats’ brains. Later studies questioned the methodology and found conflicting results.

Health Agencies' Consensus

WHO (World Health Organization): No confirmed adverse health effects from low-level RF exposure (such as Bluetooth and WiFi).

FDA & FCC: Devices on the market must comply with Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) limits, and Bluetooth/WiFi wearables are orders of magnitude below allowed exposure levels.

ICNIRP (International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection): Sets limits that Bluetooth/WiFi devices are well under.
