Primal is a great nostr app. If you have a hard time acknowledging this, then you need to look inward. No, I’m not paid to say this.

I dislike Primal for my own reasons, but even I can admit it's a great Nostr app. It's the only one I could get a wallet to work on 🤷♀️ It's great for onboarding layperson's who don't know anything about this stuff (like I was 6 months ago).
Accusing you of getting paid to promote an app purely because they don't like it is the default response.
Promote an orange pill = paid by Bitcoin
Don't like protestors = they're all paid
Don't like crowd sizes = paid
Like a product that smashes my identity = shill

It’s annoying how often people accuse me of it. 😂 I’ve been strongly critical of Primal on certain things, but overall it’s a fantastic app. As for their wallet in particular, the criticisms are understandable about it asking for some info. It’s not full KYC, but it may be more than some users are comfortable with. I get it. They use Strike to power the wallet, so I imagine they can’t get away with not asking for any info. Trade offs. Users can be savvy enough to navigate this, and if it’s still too much then Primal gives the option to use any external NWC wallet in place of their wallet service. To see prominent nostr devs and users disparaging one of the most successful nostr products/services so far is sad to see. I believe it comes from a place of jealous/envy on their part. Maybe not. Either way, they should take a step back and see the bigger picture.
I use Primal and Amethyst. I love both of them for different reasons and so happy to be able to use both

This 💯. And let’s not forget - if you want, you can use their custodial wallet only when you’re zapping others (i.e. funding it with 1–2k sats). But for receiving sats via a Lightning Address, you can connect any non-custodial wallet - no NWC needed either way. Giving users options instead of locking them into a single “correct” setup is what actually gives you the moral high ground as a developer.
