A few days ago I had lunch with nostr:npub1dergggklka99wwrs92yz8wdjs952h2ux2ha2ed598ngwu9w7a6fsh9xzpc and he told me about this awesome idea:

> A relay that rejects long notes.

This morning I woke up thinking about it.

And now it's live.

wss://140.f7z.io

140-character limit. With a pretty strict moderation, so spam should be basically non-existent.

It's also sucking short notes from other relays, so it's global should be pretty useful.

Check it out!

PS: No coincides; I saw this nostr:npub180cvv07tjdrrgpa0j7j7tmnyl2yr6yr7l8j4s3evf6u64th6gkwsyjh6w6 note just now 😂

What's the best way to use specific and special case relays like this?

Most apps have a global, by following and some a few other filters.

Is there a simple way I'm missing to just go "today I wanna see just the 140char posts" or "now let's go check out that relay that only accepts cat pics"?

Using Amethyst, Snort and Iris normally fwiw

We came up with the concepts of relay sets months ago but they haven’t received much love.

The UX could be similar to that of using Discord. One click and you can change everything except your keys and mix and match your content/identity/follow list as you wish.

This is largely unexplored but I’ve experimented in the old version of Highlighter and it’s a very amazing and powerful experience.
