I don't disagree at all. It's the protocol that their service is built on that matters.
Nostr makes sense in that regard, and social media is just one application of the protocol.
Yes. What i'm saying is that CEOs also matter, because they have the incentive to push adoption of the protocol.
If you leave that to a bunch of nerds you'll get nowhere. This is not bitcoin.

Nostr should always be attractive for the 1% who care about permissionlessness and censorship resistance. CEOs are needed to build things that will attract other potential users.
