"Why did you stop using Nostr"

> it's an annoying fucking echo chamber of mostly crypto-bros mostly jerking each other off. with a dash of keto pics, and neonazi memes, oh and constant "GM" messages". I think it's hilarious how unaware most of the users on there think they'll "succeed"

Find me an example of a single platform which didn’t initially grow through focusing on a specific, specialised set of users.

That's true, but the DNA of the founding community matters in terms of attracting adjacent communities and growing. Imagine if Mark Zuckerburg had bene from Utah and Facebook's founding community hadn't been the cool kids at Ivy League universities but instead was conservative mormon kids at Brigham Young University.

Same with instagram, imagine if not SanFrancisco indie street photographers but rather war photographers in the middle east.

And TikTok and the rest.

Nostr's issue is that the nostr founding community lacks gravity, for lack of a better word. And you can't just add gravity.
