The relay structure appears the first that needs addressing.
One of my primary issues with nostr in terms of technical structure is the reliance on relays which appear largely to be manual, while these should be distributing content between them automatically

Find me an example of a single platform which didn’t initially grow through focusing on a specific, specialised set of users.
