The evil CCP has long banned Bitcoin, and countries with firewalls can do nothing. Even more afraid to play bitcoin. Information asymmetry.
Yes I don’t know your situation there. But I’ve heard there are still some bitcoin miners running in 🇨🇳.
The hope of bitcoin is that the game theory plays out where if enough countries adopt it then the rest will be compelled to do so in order to not collapse with all other fiat or government backed currencies.
Not an easy or quick fix but I do see hope.
In China, no one dares to use Bitcoin. If found, they will be arrested and jailed.
If mining is done by Chinese people abroad, not in China.
The money in the Chinese people's own bank account is limited to 5,000 yuan per day. The Chinese cannot use their own money freely. How to play bitcoin?

Similar happening here in the 🇺🇸 but in a different form. Half want country to time travel to a future fantasy land where nothing makes sense. And the other half want to go back in time to further put chains on those that have been historically oppressed.

I must confess, if you asked me twenty years ago, if I thought admitting China in the WTO and deepening economic ties was a good idea, I would have enthusiastically argued yes. I was one of the naive people who thought freer markets would lead to freer people. I no longer believe this, and I now understand just how dangerous that thinking can be.
Democracy and political freedom must be fought for directly. Capitalism isn't some shortcut to freedom. Its wealth-generating potential can be subverted and easily fall under political control.

Yes it’s terrible but unfortunately not all crimes like this have a “deeper meaning” they just happen because society is breaking down. Specially in how that region of the country is enforcing or not enforcing laws and other levels of society crumbling.

I think this is where people’s cultural norms seem hard to understand. Not saying one is “better” than other but at the least it makes it hard for people from such different cultural norms to fully understand each.

All people have much to learn about other cultures they haven’t lived in natively for an extended period of time.
