suitcase deadlifts, single leg deadlifts, sumo squats, Cassock lunges, regular lunges (stepping back), hip thrusts

I have 10,15, 20 and 35 lb bells and a belt that makes it easy to do hip thrusts with them. I need to get a 50lb - hopefully soon.

I have to look up some of those!

Thanks.

I love kettlebells! I started with just swings (which are amazing, of course), but slow strength work is also very satisfying.

I have one. I've yet to start... 😅

For swings, make sure you look at several tutorials first. Many people hyperextend their lower backs when they swing (at the top of the swing you need a bit of a hip thrust but it can end with a nice firm glute/neutral pelvis rather than with the pelvis way forward, which can put strain on the lower back).

In any case, kettlebells are awesome! so much you can do with them. I didn't add to the early list Bulgarian split squats 🙂

Keep us posted!

I've done many many many squats and know proper glute squeeze and lower back position. I will, for sure, be careful of that, though. Thank you.

I did 100 swings. Hoooboy. I'm gonna feel that tomorrow... 😅
