ADHD is real. I use stoicism to overcome it. As an adult I don't get my brains dopamine reward for finishing a chore for example. I am not medicated but know people who are and are getting excellent results.

I have a job that is highly technical and requires pure critical thinking for the whole time I'm there.

Traits requred:

Massive adaptability

Strong abstract reasoning

Fast learning and apply what's learned

Tenacity

Curiosity

For me, its a perfect roll. I have massive job satisfaction

I'm glad to see someone else on here recognize that ADHD/ADD is more than just hyperactivity that is doomed to be managed by prescription drugs.

Each person's brain is different. I don't mean we have different ideas. I mean that in the physical, neurological sense. The brain is a series is interconnected neuron pathways that runs on neurochemicals. An ADD brain is wired in a different way compared to what is considered normal. Not better, not worse, just different.

I think it takes a measure of introspection and vulnerability to recognize these differences in ourselves. Previous generation strict upbringings are dead set on being normal and productive members of society to feed the fiat engine have a hard time with looking in.

That's one of the things about Bitcoin that I really like. When you don't have to worry about the future of money and thus whether your work will retain value, you are free to do other things, like understanding how your brain works.
