So far, Monero tips and lightning zaps are working great for me on garnet (fork of Amethyst)! I haven't been this excited about a client since I joined Nostr almost 2 years ago and installed Amethyst.
REMEMBER: garnet is a only on its first live test release so there be dragons. still aside from a few noticeable bugs, it's been unexpectedly stable. just don't tip anything you're not okay will losing and transfer out to another wallet periodically.
The biggest bug I've encountered is drafts disappear when you go back to edit them, so it's back to saving my posts and replies in a note app until I'm ready to send for now. Same as it was with Amethyst months ago, so no biggie.
Is it a bug or are the relays being pruned? I'm not sure which term Nostr devs use, but I assume relays prune data to save space.
Has worked on Amethyst, even the older version. Does not work correctly in the fork which is currently just an older fork of Amethyst with a baked in Monero wallet that is currently separate from Nostr relays. I call that bug.
The Primal feed is so confusing. It only showed me the note I commented on, which makes it seem as though you're just referencing the Amethyst app. I didn't see the entire context until clicking your reply. Sorry about that.
Can we get Amethyst to merge these features? Can be optional for their client, and default for Garnet

Got a good monero wallet for Android ?
Other than garnet's built-in wallet, I like cake. You can easily do swaps and it allows you to create multiple wallets for multiple kinds of coin. (Monero.com is also made by cake-tech, but it's a Monero only flavor. It's awesome too. I've heard great things about Monerujo, but I haven't tested it out yet :)

Instead of getting himself out of my Primal followers list, Vinney wants me to mute or block him to get him out of my favorite nostr feed. I think it's a psychological power thing and I'll just keep calling him out for it instead.
I see. I don't know you or Vinney and I'm not getting in the middle of it, but if it's bothering you, why not just block him and be done with it. Why give away your power? It's a bit like lighting yourself on fire and hoping that the other person dies from smoke inhalation, isn't it?
Digit is the only person whose opinion I care about and if she's alive she probably won't have much of an opinion on me being annoying about some idiot on nostr while she wasn't even here.
I don't seem to be on fire. It seems to me like Vinney's posts just have more insulting replies based on his decisions to to insult me, shitpost, and show up in my feed. People who don't insult me, don't shitpost, or don't show up in my feed shouldn't have so many insults from me in their replies.
Stack duo is also nice.
Cake Wallet, Monerujo or Stack Duo are all great, I say give them all a look and see which best fits for you.
Cake wallet works well, and they contribute much to the Monero community.

It's very early. It's only the first release of a live test version (0.2.0) so there be dragons, but it's surprisingly stable. Though don't sent more than you're okay with losing and periodically transfer out to another wallet.
garnet is forked from an Amethyst version just before Vitor went with the gossip model and there are little bugs that Amethyst already fixed. The biggest bug I've found over the past couple days of testing is trying to edit a draft deletes the draft.
Also, it does not install if amethyst is already installed due to conflicting signature but same app details. However, some have used apk editor to install both alongside each other.
Personally, I nuked Amethyst because I accept the risk of this alpha/beta release and know I going to daily drive it so I can help the dev with fb.
