People used to put plastic bottles 90% filled with water on their side near their plants to deter cars. Not sure if that's just an old wives tale or if cats don't like the bubble in it, in the sunlight? Or get a dog.

Two people have told me to get a dog. I can't fucking get a dog.

Yeah, you should get at least two.

😑

Seems like a similar route to something someone else suggested. I might have to go that route if these repellent pellet things don't work.

I'm planting a couple of trees this summer and wanted to make sure my dog wouldn't piss on them. This might be the answer for me too.

Lean into it and grow catnip? May as well get the cats high af…

I did wonder if putting catnip in the corner somewhere would keep them in that area, but I don't really want to attract them. I'm trying to keep them away.

Fair enough, just a thought… cats really don’t like citrus so might be worth trying lemon juice?

I have these repellent pellets that are showing up in the mail today. They're supposed to be full of smells that cats don't like, but they have extremely mixed reviews, so we'll see.

Spray em with a hose if you spot them, they'll learn eventually. Or install laser pointers that move towards the neighbours garden and then turn off. They'll chase themselves out. 🤣
