You are gonna laugh but i still use the old skool wired free headphones from apple for everything including podcast recordings and i have never had any complaints about audio in/out. If it works, it works? Some even say my gain is high, but clear
I’ve heard those work well. I always gave mine away because I can’t use earbuds; they just don’t stay in my ears. I still use my circa 2017 Bose over-ear headphones when I have to travel. 🎧
Bose is great. I just would stay away from the wireless stuff…. Too much emf next to your head. I also use speakerphone while on iphone on hive and this works well too.
