The vax shit was unforgivable. Same here.
And I got kicked out of my nephews game for not wearing one at the local rink. No scene. Just walked out when confronted.
I couldn’t watch my son’s first year. Out of the whole season, I was only able to sneak into 3 rinks……
Fuckin clown show. A big joke. HS level kids forced to PLAY IN MASKS.
I lost it. Couldn’t be part of the lie. Couldn’t do it. Physically ill.
Never too a shot, wore a mask or did one of those dumb test kits. Ever.

I couldn’t watch the majority of my nephews hockey year during that time too. I had to wait outside during his practices and ask someone to tie his skates for me. It was so sad. But both my niece and nephew got to see me take a stand and understood why. Luckily I was able to see a final tournament as the charade of allowing people into the rink after 6 months was over. Many of the parents took the poison to be granted admission into the arena so they were pretty quiet when I went in afterwards and they knew I didn’t take it. If only more stood up…
Find a minor team to watch. I get it to a WHL game occasionally, it's always a good time.

Also college games are my go to. Son & I love to hit the D1 college games. Very fun atmosphere & young talent playing for something meaningful.
I'm a "proud" Canadian but haven't watched the NHL since long before they changed the icing rule lol.
Love international hockey, larger rink, more technical.
Unfortunately thats not a real tournament either since theyve banned countries due to politics.
Best is to play on the local pond on Sundays and marvel at the huge frozen turtles while sipping rum infused tea from a thermos.
