Depends it the relay allows deleting. Not sure how primal is setup though, but I would guess it more depends on which relays you are writing to...
It’s a feature. Not a bug. Just like with bitcoin. Send is send.

Some relays honor deletes, some don't.
Best practice on nostr to just not post things you might want to delete later.
Or you can just say fuck it. Send note.

Many relays accept deletes.
It is only possible to "request" a deletion.
The app will have its philosophy over whether users will understand the nuance or not and therefore whether to offer the feature,
Relays will have their philosophical views on whether they want to satisfy the request or not,
So even though #Amethyst allows for deletions, they are not guaranteed. So if your posts are not really being deleted everywhere, which client is more honest?
It's not a problem for me, I just wanted to know because sometimes I write poorly without realizing it, and I like to correct it (by modifying, deleting, and rewriting).
The problem is me, not #Primal.🙏🏻

It will usually not work on amethyst either because notes often end up getting picked up by relays that won't delete them
