Strike is a KYC wallet.

Congratulations you linked your identity and lightning wallet to your npub

At least with X your identity is separate from your lightning wallet.

You don't have to use its strike wallet. I use alby hub just fine, fwiw

Do they force anything? I wasn't forced to do anything. I don't really understand how clients generate lightning invoices so I'm certainly out of my depth at this point in the convo

If you want to zap on primal, you have to use strike or alby

Many clients allow you to copy invoice or send to your wallet
