I don't listen to music other than when I'm in my car. wavlake doesn't work with Android auto at the moment. Id like that to work. Fountain works with android auto but fountain seems to be more podcasts than actual music.
I've always hated car media screens they are all garbage. I don't have time to fiddle around with the settings while I'm driving so i just downloaded 1 hour long mix and listen to that
I have a plan to add offline playback. It's a bit tricky. I will never get Android Auto support unless I vibe code a native app. For now you'd have to use Bluetooth audio. It does work as a workaround for now, I used it in my car with AA.
The problem with Bluetooth audio is my Android auto stops working. You can't use Bluetooth audio and android auto at the same time. Android auto is useful for google maps.
I can't remember which issue I had with both those apps. I think one issue was the volume worked but the next song button didn't work and wavlake has a kinds of songs, some without lyrics, some are super long and make me fall asleep.
They shouldn't even provide media devices in car so we can just hook up out phones straight to the speakers but phones these days got rid of the speaker jack.
Ive tried so many different things my whole life since I've owned a car and they are all garbage. It continues to be an on going issue. I really hate car infotainment.

The play icon is different on every page 😂 That is something I'm going to fix, but it doesn't hurt functionality at this time so it's lower in the totem pole, but absolutely yes I will do that.

They only have WL music. Expand it to include all.
Thank you. I understand and have said a million times that Wavlake was just the start. I have a Podcast Index API key and I'll work on adding those songs later once I have a fully working and mostly bug free app. I don't want to introduce too many variables yet 💜🤙🏻🫂
