Psycology. No one wants to be told what to do unless it is by an authority. If you can make yourself look authoritative to them, then they'll listen, but we understand that empowering means talking face to face and not down to someone.

It's a paradox, I refuse to take responsibility for someone else's decisions but I also want to open your mind to opportunities.

I’m not coming at it from a “do as I say” point of view. But for those who are slightly interested and/or can feel the pain of the fiat world, how can we improve on the on-boarding process?

That's my point, people want you to come from a "do as I say" point of view.

Honestly, I'm still working on my family, but I think persistence, patience and consistency is key.

You can't do it in a single sitting, anyone who "orange pilled" their taxi driver did no such thing, they gave them a wallet and told them to learn more and the driver took the free money because they had nothing to lose. They still got paid for driving in fiat.
