I taught at a pretty prestigious private school for a while and I taught a billionaire’s kids. They were extremely grounded, respectful, humble and hard working kids. Their dad made them brand cattle in the summer, castrate calves and mend fences. They also went on safaris in Africa and went to the Maldives during spring break, but that’s not really the point.
The parents came in for the parent teacher interviews and I asked them how they did it. They said, “We teach our kids that we all shit from the same hole. That way they won’t end up being assholes.”
