Along with many of us from nostr:npub1theparkprcs70dcs437ke9zzwsr6u60f8flu7rg28m30438aep9sd94dha, I just watched our man nostr:npub1atn7mlwt08erz4ap47gef92xfey65a4z9ed9vec53u5kc9v94pusl6h4x3 make a valiant attempt to break a local Jack Brown’s burger eating contest. Today was not the day, but like a Wagyu-beef-fueled Phoenix, he will rise again.

I failed today. Didn’t have that extra gear.

Since the contest resets every year, the right strategy imo is to wait until 12/31/23 and see if you can beat the current record.
If so, go all in. I’m at the age where a great New Year’s Eve is in bed by 8p.
Winning would be the cherry (and wagyu induced melatonin) on top.
