Has anyone else experienced getting older and their friends & family circle shrinking?
Was expecting the friends thing, but a little surprised by the family one. May also have to do with me not being on Facebook and Instagram.

It happens, more often than you'd think.
It doesn't really bother me, as I'm quite happy spending extended periods of time, in isolation.
My parents put in a deliberate effort for us to build connections with our cousins as kids. Now as adults those who I have a genuine friendship with remain in contact and those who were just part of the family time have drifted away. I'm ok with this. Fewer but deeper connections feels very wholesome.
Yeah same here. It feels kind of weird, but maybe it will get better. Starting my own family now (have 1 son), so I’ll probably care a little less with some people drifting away.
