It's possible to over think these things. I've seen every diet theory come and go and sooner or later some new information comes along to counter them all. The only thing that's remained consistent and beyond dispute the whole time is quality.

Has there been any studies on eating sugar before a work out and how that may improve or decrease function, mental resilience, etc during high physical intensity?
