sharing other poems most days which will give you some needed time to craft one a week. when I wrote some, they would go through iterations of self critiquing and then public critique (through our online group). I would get inspiration from other sources and have the time to produce one on a weekly or biweekly occasion. good times.

With a few exception I never wrote poetry before this project so I don't really have a group or anyone to reflect on my words I just squirt it out. It'd be cool to have a group to exchange thoughts on poetry, but I'm not sure if I understand group writing poetry yet. I have to think about that.
well, in any case, I have a book for you whenever we eventually meet up. Ted Kooser's Poetry Repair Manual was a turning point for me.
I like the idea of linguistic maintenance
I think judging poetry is a waste of time as most of it is completely subjective, however, he does have points on how to express a point effectively, and formatting help that enhances. it helps me take a concept and whittle it down to a few lines. no pomp or pretentious crap, just simple words that capture an emotion like a picture that you can revisit years from now and pull the same feels back out
I’m all for it brother. Maybe we can think it through together
