The bots will only get worse with more time. That’s why it’s vital for developers of Nostr clients to lead from the front when it comes to the filtration tools that users can enable or ignore. If EVERY piece of that filtering isn’t customizable and fully auditable by users, they will leave and go somewhere else. No one is being more open about this than nostr:npub16c0nh3dnadzqpm76uctf5hqhe2lny344zsmpm6feee9p5rdxaa9q586nvr . Great to see this defined!

Agreed. The individuals throwing a fit really need to figure out the difference between ‘censorship’ and ‘developers building their own platform on an open protocol the best way they see fit.’

The rage and screeching is not helpful. Practice what you preach, and move to a different platform (or BUILD YOUR OWN) if you don’t like its’ direction.
