Took these in the fall. An old barn and a very old church. Fortunately what is left of the church is maintained by volunteers.

I like the #ruralruins hashtag nostr:nprofile1qqs8ja6sqsw3xe4gp4z7zvxgx8c9v26lwfnxv2c84nh4ph25r0az2dgpz9mhxue69uhkummnw3ezuamfdejj7qgcwaehxw309a3k2mrvv9ezumn0wd68ytnhd9hx2tcpzemhxue69uhkummnw3ex2mrfw3jhxtn0wfnj7ufszel . I need to try to remember to contribute to that one.

what an aesthetic-

The conjuring of time's passage,

Between a memory of what was, a temporary sprouting

and a return to what always is

It's surreal, to stand out there, thinking about the highways and towns far, far away from all this, wondering why anyone would put a church there... then you turn and see the the views. The reason becomes perfectly clear.

I can only imagine, considering how these photos transported me. Ty ⏳🫂

Fantastic! I've got all kinds around me. Mining camps, ghost towns, old abandoned schools, etc.. this is a great hashtag to follow.

Thanks, Dawn. Great pics.

i'm a big fan of ruins... there is some awesome ones around here on #madeira i mean, everywhere, some even not that long ago abandoned, others, nearly completely dilapidated, but they are everywhere
