So far, I can't say enough good things about nostr:nprofile1qyt8wumn8ghj7etyv4hzumn0wd68ytnvv9hxgtcppemhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mp0qqsyv47lazt9h6ycp2fsw270khje5egjgsrdkrupjg27u796g7f5k0s0pfy4z 🧡 and their support team. I have (I think) finally gotten my Alby Hub figured out on my nostr:nprofile1q9z8wue69uhnvmr9dp58jernwf6xsct8d45hxdn4w5m8gatrdej8v7nhxa3h2cnsw94ksanc09unw6n0d9hkxdp4d44hxu35v4skgtn0de5k7m30qy88wumn8ghj7mn0wvhxcmmv9uqzq44xkafh8j8hhy79809wsmv0lw46nu4pkwqjyp20ekml80mytde8phfu08 server . Even though I am not at all technical, I am the "Uncle Jim" for my family. Alby Hub is a handy tool for creating wallets for friends and family for a little fun sats. And you don't need a Start9 to take advantage of it. Admittedly, I am probably not scratching the surface of all it can do. I would recommend the Alby Hub for anyone who is in a similar role with their family.

I agree their support is great,

A few months back they spent a lot of time with me tracking down a bug from an update and getting my hub to work.

My only recommendation to anyone wanting to run a node, make it a dedicated “always on” (ie start9 or other hardware that stays put) device,

I was using my laptop and when traveling for a weekend my channel was forced closed due to the LSP and my Alby Hub not being able to talk during a fee update that happened during a 10 hour window…

Lost the channel open invoice fee and haven’t been using my own node until I get a dedicated device
