I think you're right. Also, I think max-normies notice more than bitcoin maxis care to admit. Example: most of us still don't own a Lamboπ€·.
And your research report was really interesting.
If Cleve Backster was right, you're quite literally right.
π omfg thank you for mentioning this person how fascinating! Not going to lie, they talk to me it's literally why I'm such a good gardener but I just tell folks it's because I've been managing gardens too long so they don't think I'm too crazy π€£
I studied his work for a while and even planned to reproduce his experiments since they are neither expensive nor difficult. It's kind of freaky to suppose that trees and shrubs may be watching you (and judging you silently) as you pass by, and you can imagine the first reaction of people when I tell them about having such thoughts.
Less judgement I think, but yes a lot of amusement. We're like their favorite tv program or a very silly child. The vibe I get is entertainment and love π
Do you recommend a starting point to get into his research?
I'd recommend those:

https://derrickjensen.org/1997/07/plants-respond-interview-cleve-backster/
It's more information, less Wikipediaesque "bUt MaJoRiTy Of ScIeNtIfIc CoMmUnItY dIsAgReEs" science is not a democracy stfu.
Thank you so much for the recommendations!!!
Yes comparison is the thief of joy!!
