And just by the way, autism is a condition characterized by dysregulation (usually over-activity) in the ACC - anterior cingulate cortex. This is the area of the brain that changes sensory information into emotional information (thus the sensory meltdown exists). It also is used in error detection and rule-setting. To support this part of the brain we need to be getting methylated B vitamins, vitamin C and dietary copper. This study shows that THC lowers methylation, which increases available L-dopa (antsy-ness) but stops it from being converted into dopamine (motivation) or broken down into norepinephrine (chill), while CBD increases methylation and therefore assists with the neurological balance. Freaking fascinating!!
This chart also reminds me that low acetylcholine (which is made from dietary choline most prevalent in eggs) is responsible for autistic “stimming” bc we need acetylcholine in the ACC to control muscle movements a smoothness of motion. This is also related to methylation in the body. Thanks 🤙

*fresh meat
Not preserved or too cooked.
Raw is great but use caution if it’s from the grocery store
I only eat sushi raw from places I trust. I might try steak tartar eventually, but, for now, I'll grill my steaks lightly.

That's really interesting. I can't smoke pot because I basically go into overstimulation hell. It's nice to get a bit of explanation on why it happens.
Right and that’s because most of it has been cultivated for high-THC! My husband gets wildly paranoid on high-thc cannabis but he is super relaxed on high-CBD hemp products. He is also more “autistic/rigid” than I am.
