Judas was the treasurer of the disciples, he was knowledgeable in the value difference between gold and silver.

Knowing this, Why would he have sold the MOST valuable person for the LEAST valuable money?

The only way I can rationalize the 12 pieces is that he was willing to betray Jesus for free

I believe it was 30 pieces of silver and he returned it to the Roman’s after he realized what he had done
