I'm gonna go back to making cold clutches when I can. The wallet era was fun and I built a nice collection but I gotta get back to my roots now.

I've always wanted a very particular leather wrapping for a notebook. you game?
basically: a full cover that goes around 1.5 times + two flaps (top and bottom) and a tie. the idea being a fully enclosed and weather-resistant protector.
re-usable so a new book can be inserted when the current one is full.
Sounds doable. Depends on your budget. It will probably be quite large so I need to buy a half hide for it.
what would you say the rough ballpark in price would be? I kind of have no point of reference.
It's always difficult for me too to come up with a price for something I've never done.
100k sats?
this was the idea. left side is the cover flap that is long enough to wrap halfway around the back + a lash to keep it closed (somehow. either long enough to tie or a toggle or something.) top and bottom are little bibs that tuck over the top and bottom of the book and get held down by the cover. right side similar.
middle is the "back cover" with a pocket or loop of some kind that can receive the back cover of the notebook to hold the hold deal on.
the notebook I had in mind is the classic Moleskine size. I'll look it up.
in the ballpark of 100k sats sounds good to me, but is that different now with these added details?

I was imagining something like that too. I'll just need the size of the book
