Ever noticed how the people who say "my country" are the ones who have never contributed anything positive to their own country in any way.

A real patriot isn't blinded by the idea that they're better than everyone else.

The real patriots are the ones fighting against the corruption in government, not the ones praising it.

One of my most painful epiphanies was when I realized that "my country" had been destroyed before I was born, and that there was no way to restore it. Then I realized it didn't matter, that what mattered was not "my country", but "my civilization", and that civilization includes everyone on Earth.
