I’m glad that The Economist publishes articles like this. Lots of other traditional media outlets won’t touch Milei.
He literally wants to move the country from a regional to a global fiat currency.
"We cannot trust the central bank with our currency, oh but boy can we trust the central bank in the US!"

Having banks and gouvernement blocking peoples bank accounts and/or transfers to crypto platforms was unthinkable 2-3y ago now they have become an institution of control 😉
As much as I value bitcoins potential, I think these headlines were driven by inflation, economic instability and the increasing distrust of our societal frameworks. I don't think bitcoin did this, fiat did. Bitcoin will fix it.
