This doesn't make a lot of sense. The market liquidity for farmland in regional Thailand is probably fairly illiquid. You have a horrible track record of political risk leading to confiscation risk over time. You also lock in your descendents geographically which could be a significant penalty if they need to flee or choose to make a better life elsewhere. On top of that every asset including farmland is in a deflationary spiral against Bitcoin. Tell your father to project his mind forward 100 years and ask himself what scarce asset gives his descendents the greatest level of freedom combined with security and debasement protection.
