Southern California can’t exist without the Hoover dam. Northern California would be fine. But half the state without water is untenable in a secession plan.
Yes but you made a blanket statement implying water could be shut off to the entire state. It just bothers me that the entirety of a massive state gets lumped in with LA and San Francisco. There’s been an ongoing movement for Northern California to secede from Southern California which will also never happen

The funny thing is that if they succeeded, in one generation, it would be the common narrative that they are poor and we are rich because California just doesn’t have a fair share of the good money-making stuff that the rest of America has.
