I LOVE NOSTR AS IT IS NOW

Some people want to see the number of users grow exponentially. I don't, and neither should you.

Why?

Because this is the most significant place on the internet. Not only are there more high-IQ individuals here than anywhere else; but we also have the highest ratio of developers with technical skills.

The right ideas combined with the right knowledge and tools are the fundamental recipe.

If more people join, the risk of diluting the quality of the conversation increases, and consequently, so does the possibility of magic happening.

New users complain that it's a “bitcoin bubble,” and that's great! Bitcoin is an IQ test! If you're not obsessed with it, we probably don't need or want you here.

We have the highest density of technical talent per digital square meter in history, and not only that, but also a high level of financial education.

And that's the recipe for success, because we don't need quantity, we need quality.

We need to bring in the remnants of 4chan, Substack, and Twitter. Not a massive quantity, but a selective quality.

Bring in those users who will see the value of Nostr and who will bring their own value to Nostr.

If they are good enought they will bring their loyal followers that will be better prepared to understand what’s really going on here and how they can help.

There’s a war against our freedom and Nostr is the resistance.

I like it too 🔥

what about the shitposters?

We also need to have fun

Strongly agree.

Right now it really feels like a rare, high-signal space.

Curious to see how it evolves, but this phase is special. ⚡️

When I see memes from nostr trending on twitter that's when I'll consider nostr successful.

When it becomes a culture exporter like 4chan and Reddit.

At the moment it's mostly reposts of memes from twitter which themselves were reposts of Reddit memes that I see on nostr.

There's a unique meme culture on here, but outside that niche community nostr is mostly a culture importer instead of exporter

It’s true. But we need code and also memes.

The people who deserve to be here, will find their way

That's the sort of flattery we like to see here 😂
