Paid for lunch with bitcoin today. It took a minute and cost a pretty high fee (compared to the lunch price). Not sustainable compared to a credit card where the merchant covers the small fee. How do you guys see this going mainstream?

Lightning Network.

Buying lunch with an onchain transaction is stupid at this point and unnecessary.

LN was built to fix small sum transactions.

They should probably have a lightning enabled PoS and accept lightning payments so you don’t have to incur onchain fee or wait. Coinos.io solves this

I think this clearly shows that regular people should never know there is a lightning network nor that there is something called on chain.

bitcoin should just take 2 seconds to send and cost 2 cents.

Merchants accepting bitcoin in a way that does not meet this requirement is doing the network more harm than good right now.
