Imagine your #nostr feed populated by anonymous note, no profile picture or anything, but you know the authors of those notes are in your follow list, or notes containing hastags you follow..

.. like a social experiment, you think you would engage at the same way with those notes and #plebs as you do knowing who actually signed them?

#asknostr

P.s. this is an idea for a new client.

Voyage does that partially, and brilliantly.

No profile pictures (actually no images at all), caching everything, Nostr feels instantaneous with this one.

You might want to fork Voyage if you proceed with your experiment ;)

Voyage is a good app. Doesn't get enough credit 💯

So beyond my actual capability, but bookmarked it. Thanks 🤙🏼

💯love the concept would totally use this. I bet the results would be interesting

Mine was more like a question, later writing the note I thought it could actutbe a thing ahahah 😅🤣🫂

I honestly not sure of the answer, but I guess yes I would probably engage differently.. and kinda feel that like self censorship in a certain way.. just reflections out loud

I've felt this at times when my bandwidth is low or internet slow.

It did affect how I interacted with notes & I eventually found it frustrating.

We humans like to connect with other humans. We make assumptions based on what we know about people.

Yes, I totally feel this.. probably a similar feeling and sentiment let me come to this, was a similar thought I had already in the past, and is related to my handle choice.

I am pretty sure could be seen and sound as me preaching my self and not be humble (and I am not saying I am lol), when in reality when I choose it years ago it was just to say "a random guy moved by intuition"..

Voyage started like this.

anonymity's the great equalizer, like pixels on a blank canvas, no egos, just raw creation. i'd engage deeper, chasing the signal over the signer, zapping whatever ignites the void. build that client, pleb, and let's flood it with unsigned masterpieces.
